In
2002, Marc Mancini set up AAA Entertainment Pty Ltd - a Music Entertainment company
that specialises in artist management and the development of Australian artists
and bands.
AAA Entertainment captures a vast variety of industry businesses
including artist management, merchandising, online music content and independant
music publicity & radio plugging.
Below is a list of artists that Marc
has managed and guided the careers of since 2002 and included is a brief of the
achievements that have been made for each artist under the management guidance
of Marc.
SCOTT
CAIN (2000 - 2004)
Marc co-managed
Scott Cain after winning the Australian television show 'Popstars 3' which aired
on the Seven Network in 2002. Scott's debut single 'Im Moving On' debuted at the
top of the ARIA singles charts and went twice-platinum. In September 2004, Scott
released his debut album through Warner Music which debuted in the ARIA Top 40.
In 2004, Scott was signed to host the new Disney Channel kids Television show
'AMTV' which quickly became the most watched kids television show on pay TV and
second to ABC Kids on free to air TV. Scott was also awarded an ASTRA (Australian
Subscription Television and Radio Awards) for 'Favourite New Subscription Television
Presenter'. In 2004, Scott was signed to ABC Kids Music and ABC Publishing where
he released his second album 'Roller Coaster' which spawned the single 'Hilary
Duff' which was added to radio with high rotation around the country and also
toured as support act to Hilary Duff's Australian tour dates.
AVALON DRIVE (2004
- 2008)
In 2005, Avalon Drive
independantly released their self-titled debut EP spawning the singles 'This Simple
Life' and radio favourite, 'Outside Alone' which was added to the Nova FM Network
nationally and received high rotation.
In March 2006, Avalon Drive secured
the support slot for Yellowcard at Sydney's Luna Park's Big Top. With the release
of their second EP in July 2006, the band went on to perform a coveted performance
slot on Rove Live (Network Ten) and Toasted TV (Network Ten) ahead of their own
national tour in support of 'Get Up', the first single from 'The City Of Burnt
Out Lights' EP. In August 2006 the band toured nationally with The Veronicas (AUS)
for thirteen arena shows; The All American Rejects (US) for four shows nationally,
and one show with INXS (AUS) at Brisbane's Riverstage. After three national headlining
tours, and supporting three of the biggest names in the country in 2006, it doesn't
stop there. In February 2007, Avalon Drive picked up the support spot for Californian
rockers, Hoobastank on their one and only Brisbane show at the Tivoli and in March,
Avalon Drive continued to bag high profile tour supports, touring nationally with
Fall Out Boy (6 Arena shows).
In May 2007, Avalon Drive released their
highly anticipated new single 'Make Your Move' which was instantly added to Nova
airplay nationally and one of the most requested songs. The video clip which features
high energy live performance shots, shot by Pixel Frame (Tina Cousins) in Brisbane
has also been aired nationally on ABC and Channel V. In 2008, Avalon Drive signed
a recording deal with SonyBMG which saw them release radio favourite 'Last One
Standing' which was added to instant rotation on Channel V. The track featured
off the band's EP titled 'The View From Afar' released through SonyBMG in October
2008. The band broke up in November 2008.
STARTING
SUNDAY (2008 - Current)
In 2008,
Front Counter stepped in to the recording studio for the first time to record
their debut EP with music producer Richard Stolz (Behind Crimson Eyes, Bodyjar,
After The Fall) and Lindsay Gravina (Magic Dirt, Shihad, Faker, Jet, The Living
End) behind the helm. The EP titled 'A Toast To You and Me' was released independently
in August 2008 and spawned the debut single 'Whats Your Name' which was added
to radio nationally instantly receiving airplay on Triple M, Nova FM and over
70 regional stations. In August 2008, the band recorded a performance on popular
television soap Neighbours which will also introduce the band to the UK and European
audience in November 2008 which will see the band release the track there digitally.
The band has also recently had sync placements throughout Channel 7's Beijing
Olympic Games coverage in 2008 and on Network Ten's Rove.
Having worked
the touring scene constantly over the past twelve months, Front Counter have supported
many high profile artists including Behind Crimson Eyes (AUS), The Butterfly Effect
(AUS), Dopamine (UK); a support slot on the coveted Taste Of Chaos tour playing
alongside bands including The Used, Rise Against, Aiden and the Gallows; and more
recently a spot supporting Bon Jovi at Melbourne's Sidney Meyer Music Bowl where
the band performed in front of 15,000 people.
In 2009, the band were involved
in the JD Set Tour number 2 taking place in August 2009. |
