Avalon Drive, who have spent the past eight months writing and recording their debut album and most recently signed a recording deal with SonyBMG Australia, will be walking the red carpet at the 2008 MTV Australian Video Music Awards in Sydney on April 26.
The band will rub shoulders with the who’s who of music including Kisschasy, 50 Cent & G-Unit, Wyclef Jean, Eve, The Vines, Potbelleez, Brian McFadden, Dizzee Rascal and more.
A long supporter of Avalon Drive, MTV Talent/Artist Relations Manager, Colin Blake has spoken highly of the band describing the band as a “polished act that deserves to be heard by audiences world wide”.
“When you listen to the song you instantly think to yourself that this is a band you want to see live,” he continues.
Avalon Drive have recently just announced two special shows playing Snitch in Brisbane on April 24 (18+) and a free concert performance at QPAC Cascade Court, Southbank, Brisbane (licensed, all ages).
Avalon Drive will release the first single from the forthcoming album mid-year.
