The five-piece, who have previously supported
high profile artists including Kisschasy, Blue Juice and British India, have recently
finished filming the video clip for their second single "She's So Fine" which
is due for release later this month (March) and follows on from their 2010 single
'Cities'.
The band, fronted by Californian-born
Jay Bainbridge, has already started to make waves on Australia's music scene having
been dubbed "the next big thing" by Gold Coast radio station 102.9 Hot Tomato.
The band also secured a coveted spot on this year's Gold Coast Big Day Out line-up.
The band's debut EP comes in the form of 'Landslide', a five-track collection
of driving melodies and blistering hooks, recorded on the Gold Coast by producer
Matthew Bartlem (Dead Letter Circus, Sunk Loto, Avalon Drive).
It's
when you watch the bands live show where you realise this is all second nature
for them carving up the stage with their energy and enthusiasm to put on a show
like it's their last. "These boys have both the on stage personas and musical
talent to make anyone want to forget all pretences and just dance along," describes
Faster Louder of the band's live show.
